About us...
twelvebaskets came out of the Multimedia worship lead by Ian and Wayne. They started this in 2002. In 2005, together with Richard they formed twelvebaskets as a company and produced their DVD "He never said". 2006 saw the launch of the website and the first "a teachers dozen" assembly book was published by twelvebaskets. 2008 saw Penny become a partner and then in the Summer of 2009 twelvebaskets Ltd came into being.
Our aim as a company is to encourage people to follow our ethos "Create it - Use it - Share it".
We believe the Church is full of creative people, who are not fully aware of how their skills and gifts can be of great value to the Worldwide church.
Ian Harris
Ian worked in the pre-digital film industry as an assistant editor and had the privilege of working on documentaries with Bing Crosby and Paul Newman. Ian then moved into IT and worked for HSBC computer Operations for 27 years.
Instrumental in creating multimedia worship for his Methodist Circuit Ian became a founder member of twelvebaskets.
Now working 3 days a week for the company, using skills in Photoshop, PowerPoint, creative ideas and administering website uploads. The rest of his time is taken up looking after children as a foster carer with his wife Anita. Interests include photography and watching Barnsley FC.
Penny Grewcock
A far cry from her training as a Quantity Surveyor, Penny discovered her love of admin while working for CPAS (Church Pastoral Aid Society) in the Sales and Marketing Office.
Involved in the admin of twelvebaskets from the start during her spare time, in 2008 Penny bit the bullet and left Wakefield Council to work full time and become a partner in 12b.
Her role is mainly office based, focusing on sales and marketing (schools), finance and general admin.
Outside of work, when not ferrying 2 children around, Penny enjoys watching TV and films, cooking, and reading and is excited about the arrival of 2 house bunnies.
Richard Harris
After working as a creative in small and global agencies for 10 years, Richard decided to bring his talents and experience to twelvebaskets on a permanent basis and establish Tank 12.
Specialising in print and web design and brand development, but with experience in film making and photography, Richard is based in Watford, Hertfordshire and is responsible for the visual elements of twelvebaskets.
When not at his computer Richard will be found training in various martial arts or putting others through their paces as a qualified personal trainer.
Wayne Grewcock
After 8 years of working in a builders merchant, Wayne candidated for the Methodist Church. He trained for 3 years and has been stationed to Great Barr in Birmingham and then up to West Yorkshire.
Since 2006 his time has been shared between Church and twelvebaskets and he has just become the Minister of two small chapels.
Wayne's main responsibilities are ideas, looking at the bigger picture, finding more creatives to share their work and new ways of using technology to communicate inside and outside of the church.
Outside of twelvebaskets he enjoys being a dad of two ever growing children, mountain walking and watching all motor sport.
